Mark Hather: I wanted to be in a company where environmental planning was the main game.
Mark Hather takes the lead in environment practice
We are delighted to welcome Mark Hather as our new Environment practice leader.
Manidis Roberts’ managing director Peter Devine describes Mark as “probably the best environmental practitioner in NSW and a real leader of people”.
“We’ve worked with him in the past and everyone holds him the highest esteem,” Peter said.
Mark’s extensive experience spans all aspects of environmental planning and impact assessment. It includes project direction and management of major environmental impact statements and assessment reports, environmental policy, and public and private industry advice on environmental planning and assessment legislation.
Mark’s most recent role was as a senior associate in Connell Wagner's Planning and Environmental Services Group. Prior to joining Connells, he was a senior officer with the Department of Planning and, from 2001, director of the Major Infrastructure Assessments branch.
Mark picks up the environment leader’s baton from Rob Salisbury who has moved into a new role on the Manidis Roberts executive team.
Mark, who joined us in mid January, will be based at our Wynyard office.
