PSP takes out AAA award!

October 2010

Manidis Roberts’ contribution to Sydney Water’s iconic Priority Sewerage Program has again been recognised with the Priority Sewerage Program Alliance receiving the Team of Excellence in a Long Term Alliance award at the Alliancing Association of Australasia awards last night on Thursday 21 October 2010.

Manidis Roberts’ partners in the Alliance include Sydney Water, MWH Australia, John Holland Group, and United Group Infrastructure.

More than 40 Manidis Roberts’ staff have worked within the Alliance at some stage and their innovative approaches to community engagement and environmental management have been a major factor in its ongoing success.

Now in its eighth year, the Priority Sewerage Program Alliance is Sydney Water’s longest-running alliance and has successfully delivered assets worth approximately $530 million. The alliance team pioneered a groundbreaking approach to consultation with sensitive rural communities and adopted the use of non-invasive technical innovations, resulting in exceptional outcomes.

Manidis Roberts’ Alliance Leadership Team member Meegan Sullivan recognised the commitment that all of the alliance partners have made to the program. “The Priority Sewerage Program is a wonderful program to be a part of because all participants are truly committed to improving the lives of Sydney Water’s customers. I am proud to have been a part of this program for the last eight years, but especially because we have helped Sydney Water set new standards for developing exceptional relationships with their customers”.
