The Connecting Communities – North West Rail Link Overview Report contained complex analysis and rail alignment mapping for briefing all levels of stakeholders from the general public to ministers and cabinet. The mapping had to be geographically accurate and the analysis included many layers of data such as land use, demographic, origin/destination, patronage and constraints. The process of development consisted of many reviews by government stakeholders within Transport NSW and other government agencies involved in the project. The overview report enjoyed a wide public
release and circulation.
