Adrian is an award-winning consultant with more than 24 years’ of portfolio, program and project experience. He has been influential in successfully delivering major assignments in Australia, the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Japan, Bangladesh, Bahrain and Spain.

At Manidis Roberts, Adrian is Executive General Manager – Queensland, where his technical area of influence is the provision of specialist portfolio and program management advisory services to enable governments to achieve breakthrough outcomes in capital program planning, management, coordination and delivery.

In this role, Adrian also has responsibility for growing the Manidis Roberts business in Queensland.

Adrian is an active contributor to the technical advancement of portfolio, program and project management skills and knowledge across the industry, through the provision of training programs, conference/seminar papers and presentations, and also is a guest lecturer for the University of Southern Queensland Masters in Project Management.

Adrian’s experience includes the following significant roles and projects:

  • Hunter Water Corporation Portfolio Management and EPMO Frameworks (2010). Design and implementation of portfolio management, enterprise PMO and investment governance frameworks for Hunter Water Corporation’s capital portfolio, and building associated capability inside Hunter Water Corporation.
  • Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) Investment Management Implementation Program, IMIP (2009). Adrian headed the team appointed to lead the design and planning to develop this new and enhanced capability through the IMIP.
  • Director of the award-winning Program Management Office (PMO, now Infrastructure Program Division) for the Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning (DIP). From 2006–08 Adrian led a team, working in collaboration with Government personnel, responsible for coordinating Queensland’s landmark $134b infrastructure program for SE Queensland (SEQIPP).

Awards

  • Queensland Premier's Awards for Excellence in Public Sector Management 2007 – Innovation and Creativity Award for the SEQIPP Program Management Office.
