Julie has more than 15 years experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations, internal communications and public relations. She is highly accomplished in delivering superior outcomes for major infrastructure projects and programs, in the water, transport and energy sectors. She also has significant expertise in designing and delivering internal communications for change management programs.

Over the past five years, Julie has worked in contract roles for Sydney Water in internal communications and major projects. She played a critical role in Sydney Water’s communications team for the Sydney Desalination Project, working with both contract teams from contract award to commissioning. In this role, she was responsible for developing and overseeing the communications direction and approach for the project. She worked closely with both the BlueWater Joint Venture (the plant) and the Water Delivery Alliance (the pipeline) to ensure there was a consistent approach to stakeholder management and community relations during the construction phase. She also managed the customer communication campaign working group to prepare for water go-live (including research and strategy development).
