Kath joined Manidis Roberts with extensive experience in senior management and consulting roles in the water, coal, aluminium, local government, federal government, and regional economic development sectors. Her experience has focused on the development of strategic planning, and the delivery of key infrastructure projects and funding in regional communities.

Kath’s key strength lies in assembling networks of government, organisational and community stakeholders on issues of strategic importance. She has extensive experience working with and engaging communities to facilitate the delivery of potentially contentious projects. Specifically she has been responsible for the management of environmental impact assessments, strategic and business planning for regional economic development organisations, the delivery of funding and infrastructure to regional areas, and the development and implementation of community engagement and stakeholder management programs.

Prior to joining Manidis Roberts, Kath worked on the following major projects:

  • Water2WATER (ACTEW Corporation) – senior project manager for the community consultation program
  • Kooragang Coal loader – project manager for the Environmental Impact Statement.
  • Kurri Kurri Aluminium Smelter (Alcan Australia Ltd) – project manager for the community relations program.
  • Fare Free Bus Zone (Newcastle) – concept development, NSW Government liaison and project manager.
  • Job Network Guarantee (Hunter) – concept development and project manager.
