Outline

Mark has 25 years experience, specialising in environmental planning and impact assessment, environmental policy, and public and private industry advice on environmental planning and assessment legislation. He is valued in the transport sector for his project direction and policy advice, particularly on interdisciplinary teams including engineers, managers, scientists, ecologists, traffic, and planning specialists.

Prior to joining Manidis Roberts, Mark’s recent relevant project experience includes strategic planning and environmental assessment advice for the North West Metro project; preparation of numerous environmental impact assessments under Part 3A, and the RTA’s first Part 3A Concept Plan (Hume Highway Upgrade); senior policy advice on reducing confusion and inconsistencies for streamlining Part 5 of the EP&A (ie Part 3A); Gerrigong to Bomaderry route optimisation. In his time as the Director of the Major Infrastructure Assessments Branch for the NSW Department of Planning, Mark was heavily with involved in the Lane Cove Tunnel, Parramatta Rail Link, Western Sydney Orbital, Eastern Distributor, and the Intra-government Proving Up Committee for the Very High Speed Train.
