Queensland Hunter Gas Pipeline is a proposal to build an underground natural gas pipeline from Queensland to Newcastle in NSW. The 850 kilometre pipeline will initially transport coal-seam methane gas collected in the south central Queensland gas field.

This program involves constructing a pipeline from Wallumbilla in Queensland to the Hunter region, with associated pipeline laterals and the potential for associated gas-fired power plants near Lydell and Armidale.

Manidis Roberts managed the environmental assessment and ultimate delivery of NSW planning approvals. This involved extensive consultation with a range of stakeholders, and engagement and management of specialist sub-consultants.
