Hunter Gas Pipeline was established to plan for a major pipeline to support critical industries in the Hunter.

Manidis Roberts provided strategic advice on the planning and development approvals pathway for the pipeline proposal, and subsequently was commissioned to obtain approval for the pipeline in NSW. This involved the development of a concept plan document as well as significant government and stakeholder consultations. NSW and Commonwealth Government approval for the pipeline was granted in 2008, following approval by the Queensland Government.
