- Project development
Ipswich City Council is a major south east Queensland council, covering the former coal mines of the Brisbane region and home to significant future population growth. The Ipswich City Council is an integral member of the Ripley Valley Taskforce, which was formed to undertake a $2 million master planning process for the valley.
Manidis Roberts’ role in the master planning team was to manage state government stakeholders and to develop the sustainability management system. This work was followed by an independent commission to the Ipswich City Council to prepare a sustainability strategy for the precinct’s 30-year-life development and subsequent long-term occupancy. In 2011 Manidis Roberts assisted the council with a fleet management review.
