Outline

The NSW Department of Planning was established in August 2005, following the de-amalgamation of the former Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources. In March 2006, the NSW Heritage Office was incorporated into the department which now has six divisions including corporate governance, major projects assessments, metropolitan planning, rural and regional planning, special projects, and strategic sites and urban renewals

Manidis Roberts worked closely with the department during the two-year development period for the Sydney Metropolitan Strategy. More recently we played a key role in preparing and communicating the 2007 planning reforms process.
