At Manidis Roberts we pride ourselves on being leaders in communications, community relations and consultation for sensitive and complex projects and issues. We have over 45 communications specialists who work across a broad range of clients and projects, many in multi-disciplinary, alliance or client teams on a daily basis.

Our communications experience and expertise began with some of NSW’s most sensitive infrastructure projects, such as the M5 East Motorway and the Northside Storage Tunnel. Today, a large part of our work involves larger-scale or significant projects in the water, transport, property and industrial sectors.

We employ people from a wide range of backgrounds, including major corporate organisations and state and local governments. This means we can truly understand and appreciate our clients’ needs and objectives.

  • Developing high-level strategies and detailed action plans for communication programs, with high-quality print and electronic support materials.

  • Working directly with regulators, organisations and interest groups to build project advocacy, achieve project approvals and enhance corporate reputations.

Community consultation and engagement

  • Creating and delivering innovative approaches for meaningful and risk-managed consultation and engagement programs.

Community relations

  • Managing contacts with individual customers and relationships with whole communities during the delivery of major projects.

Issues and crisis management

  • Anticipating and responding to emerging and social crises by driving internal behavioural change and rebuilding external confidence.

Facilitation and mediation

  • Facilitating workshops for project teams, clients and consultation programs, and formally mediating outcomes between parties engaged in significant social conflict.

Education and training

  • Developing and delivering community education programs for complex urban development and infrastructure issues.

Internal team communications

  • Creating and delivering internal communication programs in integrated and alliance program teams to enhance team relationships and culture.
